TENCEL™ Modal is known for its luxurious feel and sustainable origins, being a popular choice for eco-conscious consumers. Derived from beech tree pulp, it requires special care to maintain its softness and longevity. 

How to wash your TENCEL™ Modal t-shirts:

Washing your garments is super easy! Just start by turning the garment inside out to protect its surface and keep it looking newer. Choose a gentle cycle, with a low spin speed, and cold water (30 degrees). For washing, make sure you use a detergent that is effective in low temperatures, like our Basil and Mandarin Leaf Detergent which removes stains and powerfully cleans in cold washes! Plus, the eco laundry detergent is bursting with essential oils that stunningly fragrance your fabrics. 

If your Lavender Hill TENCEL Modal top is stained, then spot-treat it before washing. To do this, grab your Tough Love stain remover, submerge the affected area into a bowl of warm water and add a capful of stain remover. Massage gently with your fingers, or our Natural Sea Sponge, and leave to soak for an hour. The stain should be lifted, but repeat this process until it has completely vanished, and then wash the garment as normal. 

How to dry your TENCEL™ Modal t-shirts:

After washing, resist the temptation to toss your items into the dryer. Instead, choose to air dry them to preserve their softness and shape. Lay the garments flat on a clean, dry towel, reshaping them to their original form. 

Then pop them either outside in the fresh air, or inside in a well-ventilated space! Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight, as it may lead to colour fading. 

While TENCEL™ Modal is relatively resistant to wrinkles, a light ironing on the lowest setting can be used if needed, or a spritz of our Steamer Water which smooths out fabric wrinkles and scents your clothes like fresh linen with the Blue Lily and Bergamot scent.
