Eco Liquid Detergent for Silk & Delicates: Aqua (Water),< 5% anionic surfactants, non-ionic surfactants, contains d-limonene, linalool, coumarin, citronellol, preservative (contains phenoxyethanol), fragrances: <1% Orange Oil*, <1% Patchouli Oil*, <1% Cedarwood Oil Virginian*, <1% Cedarwood Oil Texan*, *Naturally derived

Do not consume.

Hand wash (recommended): Turn your garment inside out. Fill a basin with cool water. Pour in 2-3 caps of your silk detergent per garment, swirl around then place your garments in and submerge. Gently agitate the water, leave for 15 minutes, and no longer than 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Some colour left in the water is to be expected.

Machine: Use delicates wash setting. Pour 2-3 caps of your silk detergent into the machine drawer. Remove promptly at the end of the cycle.
Drying: Press gently but don't wring out.

Any washing of 'dry clean only' items at home is done so at your own risk. Read our blog here for advice and tips on how to hand wash at home. Do not consume. Rinse eyes if splashed.

Bergamot originated in Southeast Asia, however today nearly all the world's supply of Bergamot comes from Calabria, the southern region of Italy. With its name descending from the Italian City of Bergamo, where the first record of Bergamot Oil as a fragrance dates back to 1714. Himalayan Cedarwood

Cedarwood comes from the Deodar tree, a highly regarded and sought after tree in the woodlands of North India. The evergreen tree grows in high altitudes of cold areas, and the shavings of the bark form the cedarwood. Our Cedarwood essential oil is extracted from upcycled cedarwood unused by furniture companies. Cedarwood has a woody scent with an undertone of balsamic and a camphorous odour. You should always use a gentle laundry detergent specifically designed for washing silk. Silk garments should be washed on a cold delicate setting or hand washed.

Both! Our silk detergent can be used for hand washing, as well as machine washes (just make sure you’re using a delicate cycle).

Our super concentrated formula means a little goes a long way! For a full load, about 3 capfuls of the silk detergent is plenty, for more usage instructions look at the back of your detergent bottle.

The short answer is yes! Our silk detergent effectively washes away everyday dirt, while helping care for all types of clothes - from jeans, to t-shirts, to more delicate fabrics like wool. But we do recommend our specialist detergents where possible.
