Our Tough Love stain removal is insanely effective at removing all sorts of stains, whether it is from wine, grass, or coffee. Our powdered eco-friendly formula has a neutral scent, is kinder to the environment than chlorine-based stain treatments, and doesn’t fade colour-fast fabrics. Packaged in a plastic free, infinitely recyclable bottle.

If you spot a stain on your clothing then it’s important to deal with it as soon as possible. Some substances will come out more easily when wet, but not when dry. Use the hottest water that the care label will allow when removing stains.

Before Using: Test for colourfastness and compatibility on an inconspicuous area of the fabric. Do not use on leather or suede, wood, or metals. Do not soak fabrics with metal fasteners or flame-resistant finishes. 

Pre-soak: Apply our stain removal directly to the stain, massage in gently with your fingers or a soft sponge, and then leave to soak in warm or hot water (if you can), for one hour. If the stain has faded but not totally disappeared, then repeat. When it’s totally disappeared, wash by hand or by machine as normal.

Machine Wash: For light soiling use 3-6 g of stain removal, Medium soiling use 6-10 g; heavy soiling use 10-15 g per kg of dry laundry.

Brilliant product

Badly stained T-shirt, which had been in a suitcase for a fortnight ... On first wash without this product I could still see stain. This product is a lifesaver - brilliant. Extremely happy with result

First time use

I bought this product with the laundry "soap" just because I enjoy other products from this range. To be honest I didn't expect much but to my surprise it took a rather large tea stain out of a white top in no time at all! I will certain buy again when needed.

It does what it says

I used the spot cleaner yesterday on a very old stain. I dissolved a capful of the cleaner and soaked the stained area. I was delighted that the stain lifted without removing any colour from the fine linen knit.
I also did this with a few bad stains on a cream carpet. Success!

Quite simply amazing. My cat cut his foot and bled on my new white hoodie and tracksuit. Not a sign of the stains after soaking the items. Would highly recommend.
