The stem of the darner is made from walnut and the head is sustainably sourced beechwood, it is all carefully polished creating a smooth surface. Perfect for sliding a needle across when darning fabrics such as knitwear, cotton, silk and many more.

A lovely solid piece to treasure

My mum had a darning support , or mushroom, just like this, worn smooth with many years use. This is a lovely tactile solid thing which I shall greatly enjoy using and one day passing on to my daughter.
