Lovely detergent

I’m very happy with this product and have been using it for a few years now. It works well on my clothes. Although I live in a hard water area I don’t feel a need to use a conditioner and I enjoy it coming in an aluminium bottle rather than plastic.

I can’t say enough about how good Clothes Doctor is, for products, sustainability and customer service. The new wool spray is meant for clothes but I’m also using it to refresh soft furnishings. It smells fantastic,
Is chemical free, and the packaging is entirely recyclable. What more could you want in a product? Well I guess you could want it to do the job and not just smell nice so five stars there for helping maintain clothing life and repel moths etc. Customer service is exemplary too. Swift delivery, recyclable packaging and email queries answered by real people speaking like real people :-)). I think it’s a women owned business as well so bonus points there too. Finally a company that cares about their clothes and the environment as much as I do, and has excellent products as well.

I've been using the Basil and Mandarin leaf detergent and conditioner for some months now, absolutely love it. The scent is amazing, really fresh! I'm an outdoor instructor so frequently have really muddy or stained clothes.......everything has come perfectly clean everytime!

Basil and Mandarin.

I have been using this beautiful Detergent (and Conditioner), for about 8 months. Still evertime I use it I am amazed at how wonderful it smells. It is a perfect consistency. Good value, as you only need a little. The amounts to use, are on the bottle. So economical. Your washing is left smelling of, Basil and Manderin ( works together perfectly with the matching Conditioner). Eco friendly and Vegan. The bottles are designed with flare, looking good in any kitchen. Recyclable and Classy. Supporting local buisnesses is important to me. I would love to think that many of us are ready to move on from all the plastic, filled with chemicals.

Basil

Basil is one of the most popular herbs grown in the world. It is native to Asia and can be found growing wild in tropical and sub-tropical regions of the world. The herbal scent of basil is aromatic with spicy nuances that also possesses a warm woody nuance when used as a fragrance. Mandarin Leaf

The mandarin leaf comes grows on the same citrus tree of the mandarin. The leaves give an intense citrus scent that also has a flora aroma. Cardamom Oil

Cardamom Oil is one of the oldest essential oils known. The oil is produced by steam distillation of the seeds of Elettaria Cardamomum, a plant of the ginger family. The odor of the cardamom oil is warm-spicy, aromatic. At first smell it is reminiscent of eucalyptus, then later it becomes balsamic-woody, increasingly sweet and almost floral on the dry out. Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus trees are native to Australia but many species of it now grow all over the world. The word 'eucalyptus' comes from Greece and refers to the seed being capsuled by the plant. The eucalyptus plant has a distinct smell that is invigorating and stimulates the senses, with hints of mint, honey and citrus. Orange Oil

Orange essential oil is extracted from the rind of the sweet orange, citrus sinensis. The extract is done by a process of cold pressing, which uses pressure to squeeze the oils from the rind. The orange essential oil scent smells citrusy and sweet. Similar to the aroma of orange peels, but typically smelling sweeter and more concentrated. Lavender

Lavender is indigenous to the mountainous areas off the countries bordering the western European part of the Mediterranean region. The plant spread rapidly across Europe when early travellers carried it, and by the sixteenth-century lavender was already a much-loved plant in England gardens. Lavender has a delicate, sweet smell that is floral, herby and evergreen woodsy at the same time. With it's calming and soothing qualities, it is a highly popular scent choice. Spearmint Oil

Spearmint Essential Oil is obtained from the steam distillation of the Spearmint plant's leaves, stems, and flowering tops. The origins of Spearmint can be traced back to the 1st century. The extracted essential oils range in colour from clear and colourless to a pale yellow or olive. Spearmint smells minty, fresh with a slightly fruity aroma. It is less intense than peppermint, but still holds the distinctive mint scent. Bergamot

Bergamot originated in Southeast Asia, however today nearly all the world's supply of Bergamot comes from Calabria, the southern region of Italy. With its name descending from the Italian City of Bergamo, where the first record of Bergamot Oil as a fragrance dates back to 1714. Himalayan Cedarwood

Cedarwood comes from the Deodar tree, a highly regarded and sought after tree in the woodlands of North India. The evergreen tree grows in high altitudes of cold areas, and the shavings of the bark form the cedarwood. Our Cedarwood essential oil is extracted from upcycled cedarwood unused by furniture companies. Cedarwood has a woody scent with an undertone of balsamic and a camphorous odour. Lemon

The fragrant essential oil of Lemon is produced by cold-pressing the peel, a process that pricks and rotates the peel as oil is released. With sweet, sour and aromatic undertones, lemon becomes a citrus splash in perfume. This natural oil energises, and uplifts any fragrance. Patchouli oil has a characteristic scent that might be described as woody, sweet, and spicy.
