How does your Standard Shipping process work?

If you book our standard shipping (£5.80 on orders under £80, FREE over £80), we send you pre-addressed eco-friendly packaging by Royal Mail first class, which you can fill and drop at your local CollectPlus point (over 16,000 across the UK, find your nearest here: https://www.collectplus.co.uk/store-locator). When we have completed the work we return your items by Royal Mail 48hr tracked.

How long does your service take?

We aim for a one week turnaround time, but it really depends on the order size and what needs to be done. Sometimes we need to order materials like buttons or colour-matched zips which can slow down the work. We are happy to provide an estimate on arrival if requested, and can usually provide an express service on request too.

How do you fit items for alterations?

We recommend that for shortening services like sleeves, trouser hems etc, you turn the hem over and pin the item with a single safety pin to show us the new length you'd like. For resizing garments the best method is to include a clearly marked item for us to copy - for example, for a shirt alteration, send us your best fitting shirt to copy from. You can also include measurements in the notes before you add the service to your basket.

What if I'm not happy with the work that's been done?

It is very rare that customers are not happy with our work, but if you are disappointed when you receive your item back, please get in touch with us straight away so that we can fix it if possible. Usually we will either redo the work free of charge, or if this isn't possible we'll refund you the cost of the work.
